Welcome to Day 23 of Album Month - August 2022! Today I'm doing a very long overdue exploration of the band Talk Talk and their album, It's My Life. Come on with me. I have tea and chocolates.
And the final week of Album Month has begun! To kick it off, I have the final new album by Rush, 2012's fantastic Clockwork Angels. I'm 10 years late to this party, and, boy, am I kicking myself for it. ๐ Let's explore it through my feels, shall we?
Welcome to Day 17 of Album Month - August 2022, folks! It's the middle of the week and we need something to wake up those who might be drifting off a little. Thus, today's feature is the talented, creative, and unique Kristeen Young and her latest album, The Beauty Shop.
2019 – Babymetal/BMD Fox/Toy’s Factory/Amuse
Album Month - August 2022 Day 15 has materialized, and the feature shall be the incredibly fun and awesome BABYMETAL and their 2019 release, METAL GALAXY.
We have reached the end of Iconic Women Week here in Album Month - August 2022, and, although there is no competition here at all (they are ALL incredible goddesses in their own right), I feel I have saved perhaps the most deeply influential one for last: The incomparable Kate Bush. We close out the week with her 1978 debut album, The Kick Inside.
2016 – Island/Vagrant
Today's foray into Iconic Women Week features the artist that I call my '5th Element' artist: the authentic and extraordinary PJ Harvey. I will be talking about her nearly controversial 2016 album, The Hope Six Demolition Project.

Week 2 of Album Month - August 2022, also to be known as Iconic
Women Week, which is a celebration of my favorite female musical
artists. So.. Welcome to Day 08 and a peek into my brain about
Neko Case’s 2018 album, Hell-On and my connection with her music.
Welcome to Album Month-Day 07: Bonus Content!
Today we shall see what a couple of my other favorite
tracks of the week were, and they are good ones!
2016 – XL
Day 05 of Album Month is here!, which means we’ve reached the
last album of the week! Why not end the first week with one of the
UK’s all time best bands ever, Radiohead?
Today I’m taking a dip into A Moon Shaped Pool.
2013 – The Null Corporation/Columbia/Polydor
Welcome to Day 04 of Album Month - August 2022! This time
we’re taking a trip to 2013--which was 9 years ago already--and exploring
Hesitation Marks by Nine Inch Nails. You’d think that I would have heard it by
now, but here we are. To quote my favorite track on the album, “I only have
myself to blame.” Life happens and time gets away from us, I suppose.
But there’s no time like the present, so here I am, finally diving into
this Reznorian offering and seeing if I click with it. Won't you join me?
03: U2 - Songs of Experience
On to Day 03 of Album Month 2022: U2’s 2017 offering, Songs of Experience, the companion to their 2014 album, Songs of Innocence. I have to say… I really like the album cover.
For Day 02 of Album Month 2022, we shall talk about one of the big comeback stories of the year, Tears For Fears, and the very personal album that came from their reunion, The Tipping Point.
