One Year Ago Today...

On the 21st of May, 2011, my grandmother on my father's side took her last breath. She was 83 years old.

In honor of her, because she loved the song, I give you "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond.

'Soft Relaunch' To Commence in 3, 2, 1...

Hello, everyone! :-)

The 18th of May has arrived. Am I ready for the relaunch? In a word, no. *grin* But I had said that I would post the link to the new blog location today no matter what, and I am keeping my word.

Since things aren't quite ready just yet, I will call this a 'soft relaunch' and put it out quietly rather than make a big fanfare about it. The 'grand' relaunch (which will see the blog submitted to search engines and properly promoted) will happen in a couple weeks or so, but I will not set an official date yet as things have been a little hectic for me lately. I will let you know the date when I decide on it. In the meantime, you can poke around the new blog as I continue to tweak it and make changes. :-)

The Countdown Begins

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the time has come.

It is time to face my fears and move forward with this blog. I refuse to hold myself back any longer. I am coming out of my cave, buckling down, figuring out this formatting thing, and writing new articles. The blog is coming back.

"Nothing ever happens if you don't make it happen." It's time to make it happen.

The rebirth of waterspiral is due 18th May, 2012. On that day, this space will carry the new blog address, no excuses, no exceptions.

Wow... Time really does fly...

          I'm still not dead. I'm just in formatting hell that never seems to end. *rolls eyes with a half-grin* Here's the deal: I am using WordPress in the new blog location and I'm having issues with how it's formatting (or, more accurately, not formatting) imported posts. It also only seems to hold formatting for random posts. I've tried fixes and those only work on some posts, it seems. I don't know what to do. If I had the money to pay someone with expertise in WordPress, I would. But since I don't, I have to do it myself.

And I admit: I hate doing this end. It's tedious and all it does is stress me out, which is why I keep taking extended breaks from it. *sigh* I'll figure it out somehow. I just hope it's soon. I'm really excited about the set up and look of the new location. I want to get posting on it as soon as possible. I miss it!
