Day 14: Bonus Content!

Truth be told, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do for today's bonus content, hence it being so late it's already tomorrow in other places. 😏

I think that I would like to continue celebrating my chosen Iconic Women (as they are truly Iconic to me), but, this time, I'd like to share my favorite songs from each of them. Since I am once again posting from the minimal Blogger phone app, the formatting isn't at all what I prefer, but oh well...

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 🎶

Day 13: Iconic Women Week Recap

And Iconic Women Week has come to a close. Album Month - August 2022 shall keep going, but this week was tremendous with not only talent but incredible inspiration for me. (Definitely check out the previous days' posts.) These women are all part of what I had wanted to be should I ever be in a space to make music my life. (I honestly still want that, but that's another post for another day.) Wherever I may be at with their music at any given time, these earthly goddesses are always here inside my musical being, plucking at strings in whichever way suits them, and I wouldn't want it any other way. They are iconic to be, and I hope maybe, if they are not already, they may become iconic to you.

Songs From The Spiral #3

Sorry for the delay on the audio this week. It simply was not ready on Tuesday, but I think I can bring it out now. :-)

This week's offering is different than the previous two (#1 & #2) as this one is NOT an a capella. This is actually my first attempt at a) figuring out a rhythm part, and b) working with multi-track recording and mic volume controls. This is a whole new ballpark for me that I never would have thought myself to be in even one year ago. I never even thought to use the mic on my huge monitor for the purposes of recording my singing until something came over me to try back around the 14th or 15th of November this year (2011)! I've been seeing more potential in these far from ideal means, and I am going to do my best to strive toward that. It is necessary for me to do this for not only my future but for my soul, and it is said that necessity is the mother of invention. Let's believe that, shall we?
