Song Solstice Series
Song Solstice is a series where I post a song a day during the month of a solstice (ie: when the changeover to summer or winter occurs). The month may or may not have a theme, and each day's posting will include a photo of the featured artists from the career era each song comes from, the single or album cover, and a current photo of the artists (likely one of a recent/ish live performance). Every post credits photos where the knowledge is available to me, a YouTube video of the track, lyrics to the song when available/decipherable, and links to the artists official pages and Wikipedia entries along with links to the song via Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music (if available). I am working on providing more credits etc, it's just a long process for me.

For this Song Solstice, I tried hard to not include my most favorite artists (I did fail in two respects, but I call that a job well done lol) and instead focus on songs I've long held great admiration and reverence for. And songs I just think are f-ing bangers for one reason or another.
